No Knead Bread

4 Hour Bread

3 cups bread flour

1 packet instant yeast

1.5 teaspoon salt

oil as needed

1.5 cups water

Mix all dry ingredients. Stir in water.  Dough will be shaggy. Cover bowl with plastic wrap.  Let sit in warm (70 degrees f) place for 4 hours.

Lightly oil oil work surface and place dough on it. Fold it over on itself once or twice. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let sit for 30 minutes.

Heat oven to 450 degrees f and place Dutch oven or other heat proof covered pot inside to heat it for 30 minutes.  When dough is ready, remove pan from oven and carefully slide dough into pot, seam side up. Shake pan once or twice to even it out.  It will straighten out as it bakes.

Cover with heat prof lid and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove cover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
