Mellow food day. I had gathered silverbeet and spinach yesterday in anticipation of a spinach pie today. I brought frozen phyllo dough and defrosted it overnight.
Breakfast: Two “usuals”.
Lunch: chicken salad, made from the meat off the poached chicken carcass, and pickles from last week on toasted bread.
Dinner: hummus and carrots and rice crackers with our second glasses of Pinot Noir. Spinach pie for dinner and the last of the birthday cake for dessert.
