52-54, donuts and pizza

We started the day with both of us eating Tim’s usual.

Around lunchtime, I started thinking about donuts. I use the buttermilk donut recipe from Cooks Illustrated’s website. By 2:30, we had a large batch and shared some with the kayakers who returned to review the weather and debate their departure. They were ecstatic to have home made donuts. One guy was concerned mostly about seas in the forecast because if they are bigger than 1.5 meters, he tosses his cookies the whole trip.

So for lunch I had 1/2 BLT ( yes more T) and Tom had gazpacho and chicken.

Donuts for tea

Pizza with spinach and bacon for dessert.
