It was a cool rainy day. Great day to bottle our stout outside. We sanitized the bottles, added sugar for carbonation and let it flow. There’s a very basic capper here. A wooden mallet and a form to fit over the cap. It seemed to do the trick. No explosions overnight.
I had an egg and toast for breakfast. Tim basically always eats yogurt, fruit and some form of toasted bread. That’s what he had.
Lunch was grilled cheese and tomato.
For dinner, we had sausage with peppers and onions and brown rice.
We topped it off with a bottle of cabernet a couple of sailing doctors from Melbourne. In return, I gave them some fresh snickerdoodles, which I also had for dessert.
