We’re preparing for changeover but still have to eat, so I bake on. Two loaves of bread this morning, apple crisp for dinner. I love the process of baking bread. I look out over the water, across Murray Passage to Erith Island while I work the dough. Priceless.
250) pancakes and coffee; 251) grilled cheese and tomato on fresh bread; 252) grilled steak, pasta with basil, garlic and parmesan (not quite pesto because we don’t have a mortar or blender or nuts!), arugala and tomato salad, apple crisp.
