The surfrider kayaker group, Clean Across Bass Strait, arrived and we enjoyed tea and dinner with them. I wrestled the crayfish into the pot and cooked and chilled it then made a dipping sauce. Crayfish is a lot like lobster but perhaps more briny and bigger. All the meat comes from the tail since it doesn’t have large claws. But it makes up for it in volume. I made a batch of brownies and we enjoyed a delicious dinner on the pier.
