The mid point, 149-151 The tomatoes are ripening

For such an important day, we ate rather simply. We worked on the lighthouse track and then I worked in the garden, cleaned the house and baked two loaves of whole wheat bread, which I don’t think I allowed to rise enough in the pans. They taste good but are flat.

149) pancakes with syrup and jelly, oj and coffee; 150) grilled sausage with mozarella, cabbage and zucchini in a wrap; 151) grilled pork chops with the last of the sauce from the Indian meatballs, curried couscous and fresh salad with our first tomatoes from the garden, YEAH. I have grown a little tired of salad and carrots, Now the first few tomatoes have ripened, we will soon be swimming in tomato sauce.
