140-142, after a day of bush bashing

No long term cooking or baking today. I’ve decided a lot of the scarlet runner beans are so huge, we should pop out the beans and eat them. They are scarlet too. The only problem is they turn an unappetizing shade of grey during cooking.


140) yogurt for breakfast and coffee; 141) lunch on the track: cheese, bread and apple; 142) grilled lamb with apricot sauce, scarlet runner beans, cauliflower and sago for dessert Sago is sort of like tapioca but larger. The pudding doesn’t require any eggs because the starch acts as its own thickener. Tasy and only takes milk and a little sugar.
