Low key cooking day. I worked in the garden and cleared the herb garden for new plantings. I had a hankering for spinach pie but alas not spinach or phyllo dough. Calzones to the rescue. I used silver beet as spinach, cooked it up with some spring onions and added feta, mozzarella, oregano and an egg. Next time more cheese but all in all a success.
51) pancakes for me, eggs and toast for Tim; 52) pea soup and toast for me, mac and cheese for Tim (the end of it) with pasta sauce on top; 53) the above noted spinach and feta calzones with fresh string beans and a salad of carrots, radishes and peas. the last of the apple pie for dessert.
